The nursing foundation department is equipped with the latest technology and equipment to provide students with the best possible learning experience. Students have access to a wide range of clinical simulation lab, including skill lab.    

The department is resourced by highly trained and experienced faculty who are dedicated to provide the best quality training to the students.  The student nurses are trained to provide compassionate and personalized care to each patient, ensuring that they receive the best possible outcomes. The department is also equipped with the latest therapeutic equipments, ensuring that students receive the most advanced skills.   

The child health nursing department offers a comprehensive curriculum that covers various aspects of child health, including growth and development, nutrition, immunization and disease prevention. Facilities include paediatric simulation lab, where students can practice their skills in a realistic clinical setting. The faculty are experienced professionals who are passionate about educating and mentoring the next generation of child health nurses. 

The OBG nursing department places a strong emphasis on evidence-based practice and ethical standards in providing care to women and new born. Nursing students in the OBG department receive hands-on training in a range of areas, including antenatal care, labor, delivery, postpartum care and neonatal intensive care. The department is committed to promote maternal and child health through education, research and community outreach programs.   

Community health nursing department prepares students to address public health challenges such as communicable diseases, maternal and child health, environmental health and health disparities. We equip students with the knowledge and skills to advocate for policy changes, health education and health promotion activities in the community through bag technique and other available resources. The community health nursing department collaborates with local health agencies, NGOs and other stakeholders to address the health needs of the community and promote health equity.   

The department offers both theoretical and practical training, enabling students to gain hands-on experience in providing care and support to individuals with mental health issues. The department emphasizes the importance of empathy, compassion and ethical behavior in providing care to patients with mental health issues and strives to instill these values in students. The mental health nursing department is committed to promote mental health awareness and reducing the stigma associated with mental illness through its academic programs and community outreach initiatives.

The counselling unit operates on a confidential basis and students can be assured that their privacy and confidentiality will be respected at all times.

The research department focuses on conducting research in various areas of nursing such as patient care, nursing education, healthcare technology and healthcare policy. The department encourages interdisciplinary research collaborations with other healthcare professionals and institutions to enhance the quality and scope of research. The department provides training and mentorship to nursing students and faculty members to develop research skills and conduct research studies. The department also organizes symposiums, seminars and workshops to promote research culture and share knowledge among nursing professionals. The department encourages nursing students and faculty members to participate in research projects, present research papers and attend conferences to enhance their research capabilities. The department is committed to promote evidence-based nursing practices and improving healthcare outcomes for patients, families and communities.   

Hitherto our faculty has published 101 scientific papers in national and international journals. Our faculty presides as an editor in manifold national and international journals.
